Dr. So-Young Chen holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies (Biola University), M.A. in Bible Exposition, and B.A. in Theology. She is currently an adjunct professor at Logos Seminary and Asbury seminary. Her academic emphasis is on understanding human development, learning styles, and biblical teaching. Thus, she combines and applies practical Christian education into ministry. She has taught classes related to children and youth ministry, marriage and family, and the Bible at different seminaries in addition to speaking at different conferences and seminars. She has ministered to children/youth and mothers/women groups since the 1990s. She is happily married to Dr. Tony Chen (陳敦康牧師) and has a wonderful son, Joshua, who is in college.

This class examines the dynamics of different families in the Bible. Through studying each family, this class will provide the foundations of biblical marriage and parenting, and explore how sin affects human relationships and how God redeems the family. Students will learn God’s desire for …
